On 6 March, combined with our Rotary meeting at WERN, we celebrated Women's Day to recognise all the women in Rotary Caroline Springs and everywhere. It was a special sharing with some of our members sharing a woman that haad made a difference.

It was a cool day to get out and about early on Sunday morning to assist on Clean Up Australia Day. With a cool 17 deg C the volunteers gathered to clean a small section of Caroline Springs. Thank you to all that could make it. It's our neighbourhood and everyone can do their part to dispose of waste correctly.  I am happy to say that there was a lot less rubbish to collect.

Thank you to everyone for volunteering your time.

We had another great joint meeting/working bee held at the WERN warehouse on Wednesday night with members of Rotary Caroline Springs and Phoenix Rover Crew (Caroline Springs).
Even with the weather reaching the day's highest temperature at 6.30pm, we went ahead and made good use of the 'cool spaces' to complete tasks.

One team was making up cutlery sets, using the donated cutlery that Ken D picked up from a local golf club, the second team were putting together crockery packs and the final team were putting together sheet sets.

RCS members, along with our AG Cheryl Nash (regular volunteer from Thursdays), steered the activities and all had a fun evening chatting and working alongside these young adults. Such a worthwhile club activity!
