Rotarians took a special needs group to camp at Camp Getaway Axedale (near Bendigo) for a fun few days away from 15-17th October.
Rotary Caroline Springs sponsored the students and staff from Melton Specialist School to attend the camp for the 4th year in a row.
Members arranged the catering for the students and carers. The event is not only a fun experience and time away for attendees, it also provides some much needed respite for the parents and siblings of those at camp.
At the Wednesday night meeting Ross Butterworth thanked those members who attended over the three days, providing great meals and company.
Thanks to Ross for organizing the event again this year, along with other team members - Annette, Julianne, Louisa, Peter and Amara.
Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the opportunity for a little fellowship, along with a home cooked Indian dinner made by Louisa. Well done Team!!
