Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organised by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun, making lifelong friends and coming away empowered.
Each year Rotary Caroline Springs sponsors at least one candidate to attend the RYLA camp.
At our recent changeover evening, our recent candidate Priya Somabhatta shared the impact of attending RYLA had on her. We were also fortunate to hear from Alex Lapina (President of Rotary Activate) about his time at RYLA. Both expressed that the lessons learned, friendships made and personal growth achieved are invaluable life lessons.
