What a joy it was again to meet face to face and share some fellowship and discuss how we as Rotarians are supporting the local community in Caroline Springs. At this meeting, we had a speaker who has just moved into the area and is part of the Rotary E-Club of Melbourne, Stephen Sennett.
Stephen is the current secretary of the E-Club and couldn't pass up a chance to get to know the local clubs in the area and was invited to speak about the E-Club to us and the work that they do.
The Rotary E-Club of Melbourne is a local and international service organisation that is dedicated to serving those in need around the world. Their Rotary Club is based around Melbourne, Australia however the online nature of their weekly meetings means that members can be located anywhere. They are a small group of 15 members, much like Rotary Caroline Springs. Stephen has been a Rotarian member for sometime and is passionate about what the E-club can offer to other Rotary Clubs. Especially when they had to move to hybrid meetings. Thank you Stephen for great talk about yourself, your Rotary journey and about the E-Club.
