Well Vijay is not new to Rotary. He has served at the Rotary Club of Camberwell recently, having recently moved to the western suburbs.
Vijay, a Rotarian since 1 July 1996, brings with him years of experience as Past President, Secretary and Chair International Committee and District 9800 Rotary Foundation Advisor for four years. Vijay has implemented humanitarian projects in Samoa, India and now particularly in Timor Leste (WASH Program).
He is the Project Manager for “Timor Rotary Consortium” a collaborative project of more than 12 Rotary clubs implementing Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects in remote schools and communities in Timor Leste.
He has also been involved with RAWCS - Rotary Australia World Community Service., as Southern Region Projects Coordinator and Chair - District 9800 RAWCS Committee.
On professional front, he is a Board Director and Advisor for varied organisations in public and private sectors and for not for profit organisations for over 15 years.
Rotary Caroline Springs welcomes Vijay and looks forward to his fellowship and experience as a Rotarian.
