Last Wed 4th June DG9800 Michael Lapina, Alex Lapina and myself visited Woodlea estate community Development Manager, Claire Mouser to discuss their plans to install 13 Peace Poles across the many parks in Woodlea under their plans to bring and create a place of Peace in Woodlea.
We were invited to met up with Claire to discuss the location of the Peace Pole to be installed at Woodlea 13 theme parks and wher they will hod a Peace walk once that peace pole is installed Kororoit Creek that runs along Woodlea. Woodlea first wooden peace pole will be installed near the Woodlea Sales office at their recreation park. This is where cherry blossoms are to be planted giving the area a peaceful theme.
We also walked to the near by park where there's a plan to hold a Duck race once the area is completed. Together with Woodlea we will build a corridor of Peace for residents and the surrounding neighbourhood.
