Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world?
Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.
Our 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.
The Rotary Club of Caroline Springs is a relatively new club but we are here as part of your community in Caroline Springs. If you have a project come and talk with us, better yet speak at one of our meetings to see how we can collaborate with one another to serve this community and together we can connect.
You are invited to join us at an upcoming meeting held every Wednesday at Billy's Paddock. However we are holding next week's meeting via zoom due to the lockdown. Contact us to find out more at rotarycarolinesprings@gmail.com
Rotary Caroline Springs welcomes Project 100 - Bee Happy 100 Andrew PanjKov to our weekly meeting. 1 - Making an Impact - Public Image
2 - A Way to Grow - Starting New Clubs
3 - Preventing Disease - Our Impact on Health
4 - Responding to Disaster - Frontline Action
5 - Preserving Our Environment - Sustaining Our Planet
6 - Impacting Lives - How Our Foundation Changes Lives
What a pleasure it was for me to attend this workshop via zoom. I found out so much about what Rotary is all about, here in Australia and around the world. You learn so much about the history of how Rotary was started and how it helps, saves lives and supports so many all around the world. Do join the next RLI when it is held. I highly recommend it for new and all members and members that want to find out what Rotary is all about. I complete part 4 this weekend. - Ronald Moss
The Rotary Leadership Institute Program presents a wonderful opportunity for experienced Rotarians, new members and indeed people interested in finding out more about Rotary to take some time to experience the history, current and new initiatives related to this great organisation we call Rotary.
This four-part program is now available online.

Opportunity to attend 'Writing Workshop' - 9th and 14th September
Some of you may have participated in the Writing Workshops that were held last year with journalist Jeanette Leigh. Well Jeanette has very kindly agreed to run them again. And those who did attend can vouch for their value!
We have two dates to choose from and both will start at 5:30pm via Zoom and go for two hours:
WERN has begun moving to its new premises with the help of the many volunteers over the last month.
However our scheduled big move last weekend was
postponed due to the 6th lockdown in Victoria. With the
extension of the current lockdown its becoming
challenging.
But if you
would like to volunteer do contact
David or
Kathy. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community.
