September is Women's Health Month.

Join Taryn in person in the Dunes room the Club Caroline Springs on 2 Sept from 7pm as she speaks about women's health.

Taryn Darlow is a menstrual cycle coach and fertility educator who helps women understand their hormones and menstrual cycle across all stages of the reproductive continuum, from puberty to post-menopause. She provides holistic insights on topics including PMS, burnout, irregular periods, fertility,  endometriosis, PCOS and perimenopause.

She integrates functional and energetic knowledge to help women uncover root causes, restore balance and align their lifestyle to their hormonal rhythms. She offers actionable advice on nutrition, cycle awareness, and lifestyle strategies, making her a go-to source for stories on women’s health, hormonal wellbeing and lifestyle medicine.

Bunnings Fathers Day Event

Fun night at Bunnings, lots of activities for children and families.  We will be doing an activity and will need a couple of members to help out.

Deanside Breakfast Program

Every Friday during school term we attend Deanside Pri School and toast bread for over a 100 kids. Vegemite, Butter and honey toasts.

John Toomey Book Launch - Masculine Intelligence

Book Launch  - John Toomey - Masculine Intelligence

Where: The Club Caroline Springs in the Dunes Room

When: 9 Sept from 5.30pm

John Toomey is an International Speaker, Writer and Thoughtleader.

 His background in High Performance Roles in Professional Sport, including 7 Australian Rules Football Teams, and Culture Development roles in two National Australian Soccer Clubs, and as Coach of an Olympic Gold Medallist, brings richness and depth to his presentations.

He holds a Phys Ed degree from Deakin University, did his Masters Studies in Applied Physiology at Victoria University, he studied and taught Human Consciousness as an Avatar Master for 15 years, and has lectured at multiple Universities in PE and Medicine. He served for 5 years on RMIT University’s School of Health Sciences Program Advisory Committee.

 He’s delivered over 3,500 Corporate Presentations, spoken at Conferences worldwide, published over 700 articles, completed 4 National Thought Leadership Tours in Australia, and appeared on multiple podcasts globally. John speaks across Australia, in North America and more recently, in Europe.

 In 1980, John co-authored Australia’s first Exercise to Music Leadership course. In 1983 he developed and taught the First Fitness Instructor Module, and in 1998 he authored Australia’s first Advanced Resistance Training module for Fitness Leaders, and the first Certificate in Wellness Leadership. In 2000 he authored Australia’s first Fitness Industry specific Pilates Teacher training course. At the time, Pilates teacher training operated almost exclusively in the Dance Industry. 

 He also served as a Professional Surf Lifeguard in Victoria from 1978 to 1982. In 1983-4 he played in the Victorian Amateur Football Association state team and was selected in the All-Australian Amateur Football Team.

 Currently, John is Global Chair of the Global Wellness Institute’s Men’s Wellbeing Initiative, the world’s premier advisory group on Workplace Wellness. In January 2026 he was listed as number 3 in the GoWell Magazine List of the top 25 male voices in Wellness, globally.

 In 2021, he self-published his second book, “In it for the Long Haul”, a guide for workers and their families on how to create personal success in the Fly In Fly Out working lifestyle.

 John is an avid runner and ocean swimmer, and lives in Melbourne with his wife Lassen. Between them they have 8 adult children and 11 grand children.

The Art of Living Foundation is a global, volunteer-driven NGO established in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The non-profit is renowned for its stress-elimination and mental health initiatives, operating in over 150 countries
