In place of two of our meetings Rotary Caroline Springs had the privilege to witness young students from the many colleges in and around Caroline Springs from year 7 to 12 deliver their public speaking skills. The talent seems to get better and better each year and we congratulate all students for having the courage to speak in front of a live audience at Lakeview College Caroline Springs.
Supported by Hoppers Crossing APEX club, Rotary Club of Melton, Hoppers crossing, Altona City and Caroline Springs it was exciting to witness the wonderful students deliver their passionate speeches. So much so that the Toastmasters had a difficult time selecting winners from the juniors and seniors section. Congratulations to all students for a job well done. Thanks for supporting this Youth program again in 2022, it certainly has been a successful event, particularly for the two local students who have made it into the final on 1 June 2022. We all had a great time.
The finals on the 1 June truly showed the talent of these young individuals and their ability to speak in fron of an audience. Held at Thomas Carr College in Tarneit it was a thrill to hear them deliver their speeches. Once again the toastmaster had a hard time deciding and we congratulate all that took part especially the winners. Well done everyone.
