About Rotary International

Rotary International 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.

Rotary of Caroline Springs part of this amazing International community is a relatively new club but we are here as part of your community in Caroline Springs. If you have a project come and talk with us, better yet speak at one of our meetings to see how we can collaborate with one another to serve this community and together we can connect.

Volunteer at WERN
Dear WERN Supporters,

A BIG THANK YOU what you have done and are doing in support of WERN. Our new purpose-built warehouse is quickly becoming like home and getting better organised by the day. With the expansion of our services WERN has several vacant volunteer roles and positions within our program. As current or past volunteers with WERN you are best placed to know what important work WERN does and if you could share this email to your clubs, networks and friends you would be assisting us greatly.

Do you know someone wanting to make a major difference in people’s lives within our own community? WERN can provide that opportunity with just a little of their time. Your help in sharing the attached Vacancy Notices and flyers would assist greatly in helping WERN identify potential suitable volunteers and help grow our program even more. WERN has supported over 7,000 people in crisis and now has the opportunity to help even greater numbers with your help.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me for further details.
Warm Regards,

Ross Butterworth

Alban is visiting his daughter for several months and as a Past President of the Rotary Club of Ambattur was happy to catch up with a local Rotary Club in Caroline Springs. We were fortunate that he was able to join our meeting to also welcome our newest member Hid Khan. It made the ceremony that more special for Hid becoming a Rotarian.

Wynspeak Heats and Final
In place of two of our meetings Rotary Caroline Springs had the privilege to witness young students from the many colleges in and around Caroline Springs from year 7 to 12 deliver their public speaking skills. The talent seems to get better and better each year and we congratulate all students for having the courage to speak in front of a live audience at Lakeview College Caroline Springs.

Rotary Safe Families new videos

Rotary Safe Families are very proud to provide you with two newly created short films below and found on our website: http://www.rotarysafefamilies.org.au/

After much research, Rotary Safe Families have made the films just 2.3 minutes each with as much information as possible in the Rotary SAFE Families focus of prevention of abuse.

They hope you get better insight into the abuse of children and of men from viewing the films.  Rotary SAFE Families is part of the solution in the prevention of abuse in families everywhere!  Please note the placement of the Rotary SAFE Families' "3RRR's" of prevention of abuse.

Remember the "3RRR's" - such a simple tool for abuse prevention of anyone at anytime!
